June!

The past few days have been a blur to me, as we have been so busy. Parts of it have been having fun, of course, so I'm not really complaining. I just have a huge list of things to get done that aren't getting done. Someday, maybe.

Today was a lovely day of total fun. Not one thing was crossed off my list-to-do, though. Saw the first free kids movie (Nancy Drew - not a bad movie, the kids liked it, at least it kept me somewhat entertained for 2 hours or so) at the theatre, spent hours and hours at the park with a whole big bunch of friends (ah, summer....), home to cook up some pasta for our picnic dinner and then off to the first of the free summer concerts - Dakota Blonde - my favorite local band. They are so enjoyable, I hope to see them again this summer.

Got a few fun pics while at the concert - my kids love to dance to the music:

Yes, my daughter *does* wear crowns (or tiaras) out in public!

In contrast, here are a few pics from the March 2003 Blizzard: When the snow was still falling, and our power went out, we reealized we should get out quickly.
We (barely, we had to dig our car out) got to B&S's house, and ended up snowed in for 4 days.

Yes, those are our cars under those lumps of snow!

And here is a cute kid in the sow.
