2010 Summer Misc

These are random pictures I have taken over the summer, that don't really fit into their own blog post. They are by no means in order, and often have not special reason for being taken. But they are all good enough to put here. Dakota Blonde concert at Clement Park.

We made sumac lemonade - because of many wonderful sumac fruit!

Here are the berries.

Soak in water a few hours, then filter through cheesecloth.

Voila! Woody-flavored kool-aid. We added a fair amount of sugar, butthe woody taste was still there. Otherwise, it was cherry kool-aid!

Lots of rain brought lots of mushrooms!
