Growing up

Current pots, all made in July. There are a few more due back soon, but they will take another week or so.

Here is the whole set for July - from left: small drinking (?) cup, sushi dipping bowl (more to be made to complete set!), largest bowl yet - blue, small mortar (pestle not done yet - don't ask ;-), and small flower (?) pot.

So, about the title. Tonight is Owen's first sleepover. Up to now, he has never spent the night away one of us parents (aside from the one miserable night before Elise was born....). John has been away, I have been away ( a few days, still countable on one hand!). But he has never slept at a friends, of his own volition. One other boy there is having his first night away from home as well, maybe they can comfort each other. It's a small party, all really nice kids, nice parents. Mama still has to worry, of course. But really, he is growing up.
